For the past 8 years, Chris Roberti has performed A Christmas Carol. For the past three years, everyone has gotten Covid before, during or after the show. The show, in short, is cursed. with a live score by Aesop's Sound Fables! Aesop's Sound Fables is a chamber music ensemble that writes soundtracks to silent films, theater, and nature and performs them at events in NYC. We put on community focused interdisciplinary events and seek to reclaim public space for artists. It's Fat Bear Week again! We'll be having a party on Fat Bear Eve to meet this year's contenders, fill out brackets, and generally appreciate the fat bears of Katmai National Park and Preserve (and all the other fat bears out there too). $10 a bear bracket-- half the pot will go to the winner(s), and we'll donate the other half to the Otis Fund at Katmai Conservancy. But you can still come appreciate the bears even if you don't want to do a bracket. In the meantime, check out the bear cams from Explore.org- endlessly fascinating!
