IN THE ROOM, WAITING by Thaddeus McCants
directed by Tyler Gardella
Everyone who comes into a hospital is forced to wait; Malcolm and Aisha are no different. As they await the results of a pregnancy evaluation, Malcolm and Aisha's decision whether or not to bring a life into this world escalates past the point of no return. As people file in-and-out from every walk of life, and every corner of crazy, they unknowingly have a resounding impact on our young couple’s decision, and maybe on the rest of their lives. A moving and funny look at fate, choice, compassion, and figuring out when the right time to start a family truly is.
