BANKRUKT ALIVE!
Bankrukt Alive presents Roll Call. Show up to be counted. Saturday, April 29th. 8pm. A FRIENDLY EVENING OF ENJOYABLE SHOWS
Death. Disease. And Free Flour! Come see the world premiere of two new solo shows in one night. Expect good company, free food, a post-show dance party, and anything else a human would enjoy. Physical comedian Karim Muasher explores grief (in a funny way) as a discombobulated widower trying to deliver a eulogy in "Dearly Departed." A funeral has NEVER been this fun. Program made possible, in part, by support from Bindlestiff Family Variety Arts, Inc. and the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs. Storyteller Ian Goldstein has Crohn’s Disease. It’s fine. But it’s also stressful. Join him as he explores the hilarious absurdity of the U.S. healthcare system, getting laid off, and attaining free flour in “Weird Medical Stuff.” Friday, April 28th. 7:30 pm. PETTING ZOO: LIVE COMEDY WITH LIVE ANIMALS
Welcome to the Petting Zoo. This is the world’s only comedy show featuring live exotic animals. New York’s top comics have to perform while holding snakes, birds, lizards, bugs, and other cool creatures. Between sets, you can interact up-close with the animals and learn from Ranger Eric Powers and his team of professional nature guides. We promise you haven’t been to a show like this before. Hosted by Mike Kandel and Charlie Sosnick! Featuring Esther Fallick, Tina Friml, Ibhan Kulkarni, and Caleb Pitts! Friday, April 7th. Doors at 7:45; show at 8pm. |
