Fragment is a new, devised, body-driven performance piece that focuses on the elementals, breath and creatureness. A collaboration inspired by chance, in conversation with the words of playwright/poet Mary Sefchek. Work transitions to dance, transitions to unknowns, delving into getting separated and seeking ‘’the pack.’’ Following impulse and gut images, breaking into a place that is both alive and dying, welcoming guests and strangers alike. Welcome to the Petting Zoo. This is the world’s only comedy show featuring live exotic animals. New York’s top comics have to perform while holding snakes, birds, lizards, bugs, and other cool creatures from The Center for Environmental Education & Discovery. Between sets, you can interact up-close with the animals and learn from Ranger Eric Powers and his team of professional nature guides. We promise you haven’t been to a show like this before.
