MAE WEST: THE COMEBACK TOUR
It’s opening night of the Comeback Tour, 2025. Mae West is 132 years old and hotter than ever. Sex symbol, gay icon, and the O.G prophet of Camp is back to do all her big hits and be commodified. Because…inflation. With bio queen realness, high-camp and good-old fashioned physical comedy, West is on full display through the lens of the true commedienne that she is. In a time where people's rights are moving backward, this show highlights the queen of the comeback, who despite censorship (Hollywood’s Hays code was invented for her), blacklists and ageism, championed visibility for women, gay men, and most of all herself. Expect controlled hysterical chaos. Created in collaboration with Deanna Fleysher, the team behind the award-winning immersive comedy experience, Butt Kapinski. Friday, June 20th. 8pm. THE HEARTSTRINGS PROJECT
Join us here at Cloud City as we explore indie/folk band The Heartstrings Project's new EP, "Into The Wild," sprinkled with some of their oldies & brand new tunes. Through the lens of Heartstrings' music, they will take you on a journey through dance, scene work, open discussions, memories, falling in love, falling out of love, special guests, music videos, stories, vintage clothes & more. Truly an experience. A celebration of community as they follow a boy on the quest to find his soul again in The Wild digital age. What keeps YOUR heart in tune, the boy might ask? See you out there. @theheartstringsproject Saturday, June 7th. 7pm. PETTING ZOO: LIVE COMEDY WITH LIVE ANIMALS
Welcome to the Petting Zoo. This is the world’s only comedy show featuring live exotic animals. New York’s top comics have to perform while holding snakes, birds, lizards, bugs, and other cool creatures. Between sets, you can interact up-close with the animals and learn from Ranger Eric Powers and his team of professional nature guides. We promise you haven’t been to a show like this. Hosted by Mike Kandel and Charlie Sosnick! Featuring Joe Castle Baker, Tatiana Frank, and Allie Lawrence! Friday, June 6th. 8 pm. |
