an experimental musical theater for 4 musical actors and electronics
– world premiere –
Persona non grata, inspired by William S. Burroughs's song "Spare Ass Annie," explores different body concepts of the western world. The play emerges from thoughts by the Austrian writers Elfride Jelinek and Thomas Bernhard or the philosophers Arthur Schopenhauer and Wittgenstein. At the intersection of music text and movement the piece plays with various layers of how we understand our body, our mind, and if wholeness is possible.
The piece is developed and composed by the Berlin based Cellist/Composer/Director Nora Krahl.
Cast: Suzy Kohane, Ben Lewis, Eric Powell Holm, and Anna Reichert
