We're doing a Halloween kickoff with a screening of Neal Jonas's long lost horror short "Elise."
"Elise" is about a teenage girl, haunted by the death of her sister at a young age, who has her life disrupted by an encounter with a person from her sister's past. As her hold on reality begins to slip, she must decide whether or not to confront the horrific truth behind her sister's death.
It features sound design from Graham Reznick, score from Nick Lesley and Daniel Martens, and a plethora of classic sterno rock tracks from BATTLESHIP.
The program for the night will also feature some creepy classics starting off with a projection of Jan Svankmajer's short film "House of Usher" on 16mm. Following that will be "Elise".
